Jason Sica: Lead Pastor (front center)
A Wilmington native, Jason holds a Master of Divinity from Covenant Theological Seminary. Prior to starting City Church, he served as an assistant pastor for over four years at Faith Presbyterian Church in North Wilmington. Jason enjoys helping people discover how to find their story in the larger story of what God is doing in the world. He is obsessed with all Philadelphia sports teams, especially the Phillies and Eagles.
Jason and his wife, Katie, have been married for 9 years. Katie is a photographer and stay-at-home Mom. Katie and Jason have two daughters, Kylie and Naomi.
Mike Solomon: Pastoral Assistant (back center)
Mike was born in Central Pennsylvania but grew up in Delaware. He served as a Youth Director before coming to City Church. Mike has a love for the people of Delaware and is looking forward to a life of ministry, dedicated to serving others.
Mike holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Religion from Liberty University and is currently in seminary. He has been married to his wife, Christina, since 2001. They have five children: Michaela, Monica, Michael Jr., Makenzie, and Marcus.
Michael Reaves: Music Arts Director (front right)
A Pennsylvania native, Michael’s call to ministry has led him to serve at Springton Lake Presbyterian Church in Newtown Square, North Chester Baptist Church in Chester, Proclamation Presbyterian Church in Bryn Mawr, and continues to serve at Faith Presbyterian Church in Wilmington. Michael also maintains a private music teaching studio at Westtown School in West Chester. As a worship leader, Michael seeks to assist God’s people to worship With One Voice.
An avid fan of all kinds of music and children’s fiction, Michael also likes to travel, is a fan of the Flyers and Phillies, and enjoys meeting new people.
Bethany Roberts: Ministry Coordinator (back left)
A Delaware native, Bethany grew up in Newark and attended Wilmington Christian School. She holds an Associates Degree in Fine Arts with a concentration in Interior Design from the Delaware College of Art and Design. She now works full time for DCAD as Assistant Director of Admissions.
Prior to City Church, Bethany served in youth ministry for 9 years and has a passion for the unique challenges of today's youth culture. She enjoys listening to music of all kinds and exploring new artistic pursuits. She also loves traveling and meeting new people with their own stories to tell along the way.
Christina Solomon: Children's Ministry Director (back right)
Born in Philadelphia, Christina moved to Delaware when she was twelve years old. Christina has a passion for youth. She is a creative teacher who loves to make learning fun for kids. She served as a middle school teacher at her previous church.
Christina has been attending Liberty University Online since 2007. She holds an Associates Degree in Religion and is currently enrolled in their Early Childhood Education program. Christina has been married to Mike since 2001. They have five children: Michaela, Monica, Michael Jr., Makenzie, and Marcus.
Laura Williams: Bookkeeper/Treasurer (front left)
A life-long resident of Delaware, Laura was born at the St. Francis Hospital, just blocks away from where City Church gathers for worship. She has been a part of City Church from the beginning as a member of the launch team and enjoys crunching numbers in her current role as the bookkeeper/treasurer.
For her day job, Laura publishes books at Oak Knoll Press in Old New Castle. She has a Bachelor’s degree in English from The University of Delaware, where she met her husband Ian, a computer programmer. They have been married since 2007.
